Responsible Ethical Volunteers for Animals

MISSION STATEMENT

R.E.V.A. Inc.

Our mission is to spay and neuter as many pets as possible and rescue abandoned and abused animals in the Kern River Valley on a voluntary pay basis. We are a nonprofit organization funded by donations. We will solicit monthly pledges from local residents, businesses, member clubs, and have the support of the Kern County Humane Society.

Volunteers will be requested to assist in the clinic and for fundraising activities such as car washes, rummage sales, and pet show/fun days.

We will educate the public on humane treatment of pets, pet husbandry, and the benefits of spaying and neutering by distributing fliers, sponsoring classes, and seeking publicity from radio, TV, and newspapers.

Our organization is dedicated to the memory of our founder, Reva Martinez, and is operated by Jesse Martinez and the Board of Directors.

If you would like to help, either by contributions or doing volunteer work, please download the file by clicking on "Mission Statement Download" in the Site Map.  Additional contact information is provided in it.  Thank you.
